A few miles east of Paphos, visitors can see the goddess’ birth place at Aphrodite’s Rock and visit the evocative remains of the temple where she was worshipped in ancient times.
Paphos ranks amongst one of the most attractive little towns in the Mediterranean. Situated in the south west of one of the most beautiful parts of Cyprus, it has a friendly cosmopolitan population of about 70, 000.
