Ayia Kyriaki Church Paphos
Ayia Kyriaki Church in Paphos is one of the most beautiful venues you can
choose for your wedding day ceremony.
Situated in the centre of lower Paphos, not far from the harbour, this picturesque
church is set amongst the ancient ruins of St Paul’s Pillar, dating back to ancient
times, making it one of the most famous archaeological sites in Cyprus. The grounds
are steeped in history and the church itself is made of old stone walls which
help to keep the church cool during the hot summer months. Inside there is an
impressive and colorful display of icons, giving the venue a unique character.
It can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers a fabulous historic setting for
a perfect wedding ceremony.
If you choose a church service for your wedding day plans it should reflect your
values and beliefs about marriage as it is a religious ceremony and will be conducted
as so.
Owing to its centuries-old heritage, the location of this historic church offers
exceptional photo and video opportunities. Ido strongly advises
professional photography due to the importance of the day. After the ceremony,
there is time for out-of-doors photos and film in a splendid setting, where guests
have the opportunity to throw confetti.
