Ido Weddings wants to make your Cyprus wedding an event you will remember with joy. In order to make the process clear for both you and Ido Weddings, please read the below ‘Terms & Conditions’ carefully.
Terms and Conditions

1. The package you have booked with “I do” wedding company is what you will receive and this will be confirmed in writing upon receipt of your deposit. 

2. Your deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Any pre-paid amounts (beyond the deposit) are refundable when cancellations are received in writing at least thirty (30) days in advance. Under thirty (30) days all final deposits taken are non-refundable. Any upgrades or additional extras ordered, must be paid for in full prior to your wedding day. 

3. You may change or postpone your wedding date one time without penalty; however, each additional change to date or time is subject to a fee of €150 (Euros). You may postpone your wedding date up to seven (7) days prior to the event. Any postponements made six days or less prior to the event are subject to additional costs. The new wedding date must fall within one year of the original wedding date and be booked within ten (10) days of the postponement. Any deposit or pre-paid amounts already paid will be transferred to the new contracted date. 

4. If “I do” wedding company need to refund your card for any reason, we are not responsible and will not attempt a second refund if the exchange rate has in anyway changed from the previously charged amount. Any additional charges incurred for refunding you card will be deducted from the refund. 

5. If necessary, due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, “I do” wedding company reserves the right to change the wedding venue for the safety and comfort of you and your wedding party. In the unlikely event of this happening alternative venues will be offered for no additional charge but “I do” wedding company will not refund any portion of the package. 

6. The venue will be set out as discussed and agreed with your “I do” wedding planner. Additional features can be added to the venue to enhance your beach ceremony experience and additional fees will apply. 

7. 1 hour 30 minutes of beach time will be allocated to one wedding, starting 30 minutes before the scheduled ceremony time. 

8. “I do” wedding company will not be held responsible for the guests not arriving at the venue on time if they have made transport arrangements through an outside vendor. 

9. Ceremonies begin promptly at reserved times. “I do” wedding company reserves the right to change the ceremony time or cancel the ceremony if the wedding party is more than ten minutes late from the contracted wedding start time. Fees to then change the time of the ceremony, date of the ceremony, or package will apply. 

10. Seaweed is a natural occurrence and “I do” wedding company will not be held responsible should it be washed up on the beach. 

11. All beaches in Cyprus are public beaches, therefore “I do” wedding company cannot be held responsible for the noise, litter or actions of other people using the beach at any time. 

12. Swimming, alcohol or littering on the beach at any time during the event is strictly prohibited. 

13. “I do” wedding company does not allow any items to be thrown prior/during/after the wedding ceremony. These items include but are not limited to: Rice, Bird Seed, Confetti, and Excessive Petals. Bubbles are allowed. 

14. All services required for the wedding ceremony such as decoration, floral services, photography, hair and beauty, transport, must be booked through “I do” wedding company. Outside suppliers will not permitted onto the beach venue. We will however, allow professional photographers if booked in the UK and are travelling purely for your wedding. 

15. For your convenience, “I do” wedding company will retain your wedding ceremony digital files and video for three months after your wedding date. At that time, if you do not wish to make additional photography purchases, your digital files will be discarded. It is the responsibility of the wedding couple to contact “I do” wedding company within the three (3) months to purchase any of these items. 

16. Your “I do” wedding planner is experienced in assisting you with your wedding and reception flower selections. If you are sending photographs of bridal bouquet designs to recreate, bear in mind some flowers may not be available and exact matches are not guaranteed; however, our florist will create a beautiful custom bouquet inspired by the design from your photograph. 

17. The use of decorative materials or other items without the permission of the “I do” wedding planner is prohibited. All decorative materials must comply with fire prevention regulations. 

18. If a room reservation is included in your wedding package it will be handled through your “I do” wedding planner. “I do” wedding company is only responsible for the room included in the package – if applicable. All other reservations must be handled individually through the hotel’s reservation system. Extra nights added are paid directly to the hotel. Please contact your “I do” wedding planner to secure your desired accommodation, which is based upon availability. 

19. “I do” wedding company do not accept any responsibility or liability for acts or omissions of third party suppliers of equipment, decorative items or other items brought onto the beach. All such items need to be removed from the beach immediately after the event. 

20. “I do” wedding company are not responsible and will not reimburse for lost, stolen or damaged items, no matter the location (i.e. ceremony location, reception location or Vendor locations such as Bridal car etc.). 

21. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which causes damage to property belonging to “I do” wedding company or other parties. In such circumstances “I do” wedding company has the right to terminate any agreements or arrangements made with you or on your behalf. In such cases, “I do” wedding company’s responsibility to you ceases immediately and there will be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Furthermore, you will be liable to reimburse “I do” wedding company for any expenses whatsoever incurred as a result of your behaviour. 

22. Your “I do” Wedding Planner has authority over the event at all times. He/She may stop the event if you are considered unfit to continue, or if you pose a danger to other people. The “I do” Wedding Planner will exercise this right if, for example, you or members of your party are found to be intoxicated before the event, or if you or members of your party use threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. In those circumstances, “I do” wedding company, at our reasonable discretion, may terminate your event and will not be responsible for completing your event. 

23. No liability can be accepted by us where the event is affected by 'force majeure'. In the context of these terms and conditions, 'force majeure' is any event that we could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. These events include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riot, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, acts of God, terrorist activity, nuclear disaster, adverse weather, government action, technical problems with transportation or other events outside our control. In any such cases “I do” wedding company reserves the right to withdraw its services at anytime. 

24. Any changes or deviations from these Terms & Conditions must be approved by your “I do” wedding planner, and must be submitted in writing. All changes may result in rate increases. Prices are subject to change. 

25. If any of the terms & conditions are not met, “I do” wedding company reserves the right to cancel the event without notice and no monies will be refunded.
