Legalities For Weddings

A Marriage Licence is necessary before any wedding can take place in Cyprus, whether your ceremony venue is a church or a civil location.
Ido Weddings will be pleased to assist you in the process of obtaining this document. Our aim is to give you peace of mind so, all we ask, is that you forward us copies of specific documents, necessary for the issue of the marriage licence, in good time. We will request that you fax or post to us photocopies of the required documents, detailed below, at least 6 weeks prior to your arrival date in Cyprus. This will give us ample time to deal with the relevant authorities.
When you arrive in Cyprus, Ido Weddings will make further arrangements to complete this process of obtaining a marriage licence.
